It has been a minute since we last had a blog post! I will be honest and say that our previous contracted blogger has since moved and we decided to take on this adventure of blogging ourselves. This is not to say that we will not be inviting others to tag in for us, but for now, we are going to give this blogging world a shot!
Since our last post in the beginning of 2018, yes that is right it has been almost a year, we have had a ton of changes here at NDA. First, I will start by saying that last year was such an amazing year for our team. We closed about 50 properties, landed number one in all of the sitting Madison agents for any agency, and made Diamond Society level as our first year being counted as a team. I would say that is a success!
Another huge upgrade in our team is our fourth team member Kathy Connors! Kathy has been such an asset to our team, starting as being the new team admin to then joining the team. However, Kathy isn’t new to the real estate game, but has been in it for almost 14 years! She has been the perfect fitting puzzle piece to our team and is already off to a great start to 2019!
We are fortunate to have Kathy Geyer (yes we have two Kathy’s with a K) working with us! She has been insanely busy with her other career and beautiful family, but is still ready, willing, and able to take on the real estate world! She has been working with buyers and sellers and loving it! We can’t wait to see what this year holds for her.
Nancy is still our invaluable team leader who had a killer year in real estate, working with many local sellers and buyers as well as relocating clients. She made Presidents Circle for Coldwell Banker, and of course, continues her standing as a Five Star Agent! She has been the glue to the team and has already had a strong start to 2019 with new listings popping up every week!
I was Ashley Taylor, now Ashley Alvarado as I got married back in September and now a current Killingworth resident! Buying a house and getting married in the same year was a crazy and thrilling time, but worth every second. Also, real estate was strong last year which kept me pretty busy. I increased my production by more than double from 2017! I am starting to feel really comfortable in the real estate world. I am fortunate to be able to have a mentor and a team that I continue to learn from each day and have big goals for 2019! Earning Madison Coldwell Banker’s Agent of the Month for January 2019 certainly was not a bad start.
Our team has made some new changes with our marketing including utilizing drone shots for most of our properties, as well as implementing custom floor plans, updating our website, and finding the most effective way to help our clients buy and sell homes. Our social media platform has grown significantly over the past year as our presence on Facebook and Instagram in now 6-7 days a week. We have continued to be a customer-serviced based real estate team vs sales. Our clients last year were just wonderful to work with and we feel we have made some long-lasting relationships!
Our goals this year is to not only continue forming our team but to work on continuing to grow marketing for our listings to ensure the MOST exposure possible for our sellers. We are working closely as a team and with marketing professionals to continue to learn everything new coming to the forefront in this area! We are determined to be ahead of the times and to serve our sellers the best we can.
Our goal on the buyer side is to not only continue to help them find the perfect home but to be knowledgeable in the changing of styles and opportunities of loans that are now coming out. We work closely with local lenders to ensure that we are up to date and have them in our back pocket for easy access for our buyers.
We wanted to check in with everyone and hope this catch up was helpful! We are always willing to take calls for anything from questions, to referrals, and of course, helping you with buying or selling a home!
Please reach out with any blog suggestions as we want to write about what you want to read about!
